BMW E38 Alternator installation How to fit water cooled alternator on a BMW e38 740i M62TU E39 540i

In this short video I will show you how to install a water cooled alternator and gasket on BMW M62TU engine.

These alternators are found in the BMW E38 and E39 models 740i 735i 740il 535i 540i, BMW X5 with the 4.4 V8 M62TU engine

BMW E31 E32 E34 E36 E38 728i and 750i E46 E60 and many more have the standard air cooled alternator so the procedure there is a bit different.
