The biggest challenges to removing this 2010 z4 door handle are:

1) finding a tool to depress the small locking tab located inside the peephole on the inside door jam. It must be at least 6" long (preferably 8-12") and 1/8" wide--flat screwdrivers won't work without mods.

2) discovering the push/pull hole in the sliding lock plate.

But if you've experienced other BMW handle designs you'll have a general idea how it works.
