In this video, we diagnose a drivetrain issue and determine that the cv axle shaft on the left rear of this 2004 BMW Z4 has been destroyed. This car is heavily modified so it is slightly more challenging removing damaged part and installing the new axle. This procedure will apply to all E86 & E86 Z4 models from 2003 to 2008.
