Alternator not recharging on your E87 BMW 1 series? Our 120D had just this issue and the good news is that you may not need to spend money on a complete new alternator. It could just be the voltage regulator thats faulty, which is an easy item to replace and its also a cheaper option than replacing the complete alternator.
