In this video I'm replacing the Thermostat step by step, followed by replacing the coolant and bleeding the system. I'll show you the whole process and below are links to the parts and tools I used. Prior to changing the thermostat, I was receiving error code 1D2404 Map thermostat, control line break on my 2012 BMW 528i F10. So, I changed the thermostat, reset the codes, and it did not return (so far). If you get this error, it's possible changing the thermostat might resolve it.
