BMW 5 Series e60 Boot/Trunk Lid Opening too FAST!!.. Spring Replacement.

Hi everyone and welcome to another Bimmer Fixer video.

In this video I will show you how to replace the Boot/Trunk lid on your BMW 5 Series e60.
Over time the shock absorber loses its effectiveness, and the spring overpowers the shock absorber meaning that the Boot lid opens way too fast and 1. Looks silly and 2. It could damage the hinge on the door.

Replacing this all-in-one spring and shock absorber is a 5-minute job and you only need some thin nose pliers or screwdriver.
