How to Iinstall Rear Axle Shaft on BMW E60 2004 2010 | DIY

How to remove Axle shaft: https://youtu.be/nAk1X_q2Hyc
Torque axle shaft nut to 420 Nm on E61; to 300 Nm on E60
Axle boots fail over time causing loss of grease in the CV joint. As a result, an axle shaft may become noisy or create a vibration. Removing a rear drive axle is not a difficult job. Plan to spend about half of the day to replacing it. My axle became rusty and start to throw grease, that is why I replaced it.
