this video show how to diagnosis on BMW X3 E83 engine light that show P0306.
P0306 is showing car having a engine missfire on cylinder 6. this can come with several issue cause the cylinder 6 to missfire.
the first we can do is checking whether the ignition coil is function well or not by swaping the good ignition coil to cylinder 6, then re-run again on OBD2 for clear code and rescan whether the missfire is show on others cylinder or not.
After swap ignition coil. if the code still present, when can do change spark plug on cylinder 6 and then re-run the scanning.
for my video it show the cylinder 6 miss fire fixed by change on spark plug number 6.
but for some scenario, if the miss fire still present after replace spark plug, can check on the fuel injector on cylinder 6, it may cause by clogged fuel injector. Thanks for watching.
