BMW X3 e83 Engine Mount Replacement Driver side and Passenger side Engine Mount Replacement!

We took this video to show you how to replace the left and the right engine mount on a BMW X3 E83. The vehicle that we demonstrated on a 2005 BMW X3 3.0. It should be almost the same for 2004 2005 and yearly 2006. The N52 engine might be about the same procedure with some differences.
The passenger side is easier to replace than the drive side. You might need to use two jacks that way you will be able to jack up the side that you need.
The driver side is more complicated. Some people recommend dropping the sub-frame a little bit so you can get more clearance and install the new mount. However, we unhooked the steering shaft and it worked but it was still very tight fit. Another option that some people use is to remove the left CV shaft but it requires some suspension disassembly.
Make sure that you use quality engine mounts since it is time consuming job.
