Ah! The M54 Catalytic Converters. A headache every e46 owner will have to endure at some point. whether it's replacing the cats, swapping them for headers, or turning the M54 into a spooly boy. The headers can be daunting.

Well here's an ancient & forbidden technique that won't require you to drop your subframe

Here's some quick info:

- Clogged cats can interfere with practically everything engine wise. Rough idling, terrible acceleration, and can actually reduce power to the point where the engine stalls...happened to me. In fact, the transmission barely wanted to shift because of it

Think about it like this. You eat, your stomach goes through digestion, and you know the rest.
So in other words, your engine is constipated

Disclaimer:
- The washer fluid reservoir was not installed prior and the secondary air pump was removed for access.
- Both are quite simple to remove but you might get your fingertips wet
