This particular car is a 1996 BMW 328I, however this process is universal on all E36 coolant systems.
The radiator must be removed for quite a few different jobs on the six cylinder motors, if removing the radiator for whatever reason it's best to go ahead and replace any hoses or sensors that are worn.
