Mk-V Fiesta - The alternator was not producing enough voltage to charge the battery. This video shows how I removed the alternator from the engine bay for inspection and repair. (The initial diagnosis was correct, the culprit was worned out slip rings of the alternator. Slip rings replaced and alternator installed in place, and my Fiesta works properly again.)
