I decided to show you guys a quick video to give you guys an idea on how to remove the Alternator on the ford focus 2011-2018 with the 2.0 liter engine. I decided to replace my alternator because my battery light came on and when I checked the charging system the alternators out put was only 12.1.. where it should be well over 14.0 on this cars.
New alternator fixed the problem (steady 15.1V on startup,gradually subsiding with idle RPM after a minute to 14.9V).

I had to do this job twice because I decided to install an aftermarket alternator and after installing it.. NEW alternator wouldn't charge ...I recommend always getting a dealer alternator for this cars.
