In this video, I replace the steering rack in my 2004 Ford SVT Focus. It was leaking out of one of the ends of the rack and running down the control arm and flinging around in the wheel well. To get the steering rack out, remove the subframe bolts and the sway bar end links, hoses, and steering shaft. Then, the rack can slide out to the side. This video applies to both SVT and non SVT Focus cars. Be sure to get an alignment after so that you don't ruin your tires. I hope you find this video useful!
