Mercedes slk r171 brake pads change and replace new pads.
It is a very quick easy process but sometime the caliper pin get corroded and rusted into the caliper, don’t force it out as it may get damage, use some penetration oil and let it sit into the pin, in most cases it will come out without problem but if it does, use grip piler on pin and hit it out with a bit of heat too.

Once the pin is out, remove the spring clip underneath, the brake pad can then be removed and replaced.
Check and clean the brake pad ribbing area cos rust build up.
Reverse the process to install the pads
