►Mercedes' M276 engine uses four camshafts, each with its own position sensor. The sensor tells the engine computer where the cams are in rotation, allowing it to ensure they're where they need to be. Unfortunately, Mercedes' cam sensors fail regularly, allowing oil to leak through and leaving owners with a slightly messy issue. This can also be the start of oil wicking its way up the cam sensor harness and into the ECU plug, where it'll destroy electrical systems and likely force you to replace the harness.

In this video, Cole Evans, FCP Euro's In-House Technician, replaces the cam sensors on an M276 engine in a Mercedes W205 C43 AMG.
