Mercedes C43 AMG Radiator Replacement DIY (2015-2021 Mercedes W205 C400, C450, M276)
►The radiator is the all-important piece that turns your hot engine coolant into cool engine coolant. It generally lasts around 100,000 miles, but once it goes, it'll need immediate replacement. Coolant leaks are serious business, and driving your car while losing coolant is an easy way to rapidly overheat the engine. Damage from an outside source will likely be the cause because, while modern-day plastics are still imperfect, they're miles better than decades past.
Leaks will spring from either the metallic core or the plastic end tanks. Either way, it'll be a high-pressure leak that can leave you stranded without much warning. Be sure to thoroughly check any visible signs of dried coolant in the engine bay. That, and a sweet smell from the engine bay, is the best warning you can get.
In this video, Cole Evans, FCP Euro's In-House Technician, replaces the radiator on a Mercedes W205 C43 AMG.
