In this video, I show how to replace the automatic transmission gearbox mount on a Mercedes W204 C-Class, carrying out the job DIY at home.

A worn gearbox mount can cause vibration, knocking, or harsh gear changes, and this video walks through the practical steps involved in removing the old mount and fitting the new one.

I also include the correct torque settings used during reassembly, which are important to get right.

Torque settings:
16 mm bolts: 50 Nm
13 mm bolts: 25 Nm
