I'm attempting to solve the mystery of why this car won't pass it's smog check here in California where the new rules require that all of your engine readiness monitors are set (except the EVAP). This car will not set the catalytic converter monitor for no man, and it eventually gives you a P0422 code, which is Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold. How will I solve this problem?
