This is a video that contains various scenes throughout the repair replacement of a EGR valve in a 2006 Mazda Miata. This is not a step-by-step procedure by any means, but it will at least give a general idea of what you're up against and a few things that were helpful in getting it removed. Mine is manual transmission 6 speed. ERROR CODE PO403. Price for replace was all over the place, but EOM was around 400 bucks! I went with a EOM Delphi as my guy was able to get it for a better price than Mazda etc. Given the amount of work to replace I didn't want to risk it with a cheaper part, call me stupid or a genius , depends how you look at it.
