This video shows you how to replace the fuel pump assembly on the 2009-2013 Mazda 6 2.5l and 3.7L. Since this video was produced Airtex no longer makes the fuel pumps for this car but I will provide links below to the Delphi unit and a cheaper one you can purchase from Amazon along with some of the other products and tools used in this video. Also use EXTREME CAUTION! when using a flat head screwdriver to remove the fuel pump lock, there is a potential of causing a spark which could ignite fuel vapors if hit too hard. To fix this issue I have also provided links to a universal lock ring removal tool and some brass punches if needed. The brass punches will not create a spark.
