This video shows you how to replace the inner tie rods on your 2004-2009 Mazda 3. The inner tie rod has a ball joint that can wear over time, causing a clunking noise, loose steering, and eventually, other problems with the wheel and suspension components. It’s a good idea to replace your inner tie rods as soon as you notice any of these symptoms.

This repair was done on a 2006 Mazda 3 S 2.3L Sedan 4-Door FWD Manual and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2004 Mazda 3
2005 Mazda 3
2006 Mazda 3
2007 Mazda 3
2008 Mazda 3
2009 Mazda 3
