Step by step how to replace the thermostat, silicone gasket and housing. Similar process for non-supercharged R50 MINIs, but remove battery instead of airbox.
You may need to do this if you have a coolant leak from the left/center of the engine, engine takes long time to warm up/no interior heat, car is overheating even though fan is working, etc.
