HOW TO Change the Battery in your Hyundai Car (shown on i30)

In this video, we look at how to change the battery on a Hyundai car. You need a 10mm socket to loosen first the negative, then positive terminal. Make sure to remove the negative first, to detach the car's chassis from potential. Then, remove the positive terminal. The battery is still held physically in place with a bracket and 13mm bolt. Use a 13mm socket and extension to remove that bracket, and you can remove the old battery. Place the new battery inside the jacket, and slide into place. Tighten the bracket. Tighten first the positive terminal, then the negative. Put any terminal covers back in place, and test your new battery. Reset the clock on your radio if necessary.
