There's a lesson to be learned here that I already knew but didn't act on for some stupid reason: most of the time the sensor isn't broken. It's doing its job correctly and telling you that there is a problem. This video documents my blunder - changing the sensor seemed to work initially, then the dashboard error message came back some days later. The true cause of the error is in a forthcoming video but I posted this in case you really do need to change the sensor. On the plus side, it's very easy.
