I would recommend if you are going to do this job yourself get a manual for more clear instructions on timing marks etc this is just a sort of guide for timing chain and guide replacement. If you are hearing timing chain noises it can also be coming from the intake camshaft sprocket or VVT. It wouldnt be a bad idea to replace that as well.
