Lug Nut Torque Spec - 80 ftlbs
I could not find torque specs for the suspension bolts so I went by feel. As a general rule, try to piece the entire strut assembly together loosely before tightening any bolts, to allow you some wiggle room.
This is a QUICK STRUT install meaning the strut/spring assembly is ready to install. If you are installing struts only, and re-using the springs, it's quite a bit more work. I like taking my assemblies to professional mechanics so they can deal with the compressed spring. Mishandling the spring can be very dangerous, so it's best to avoid it without the proper spring compressors and know how. There are other DIY videos out there showing how it's done.
The rear assembly can be a bit tricky on this car when changing the struts. Videos always make things seem easier than they actually are. This is an intermediate mechanic job IMO. Take your time and make sure the bottom shock bolt is aligned with a screwdriver or some type of pointy shaft before attempting to install the bolt. The same goes for the trailing arm bolts. Do not force anything! It should be able to come together with a medium sized ratchet. Good luck and happy wrenching!
