I thought this task was hard but it was dead easy for me and i'm sure you can do it too. EGR Valve carried a p0401 fault and it seems a lot of carbon deposits needed to be cleaned out using an EGR cleaner.


Once reinstalled after deep cleaning, if the engine light doesn't go off then clear it using the mobile app , once cleared wait to see if it develops again in a few days or weeks. If it's the same problem you can carry out another clean or raise it up with a mechanic.
