Fix Audi A4 Headlight Range Control Defective | Rear Level Sensor Arm Replacement (B8.5)
Is your Audi giving you the annoying "Headlight Range Control Defective" yellow warning light? OR are your xenon headlights pointing directly at the ground? In this video, I’m back in the garage working on my 2015 Audi A4 to fix a common suspension issue: a broken rear headlight level sensor arm.
This arm connects the sensor to the control arm and tells the car how to level your lights. When it snaps (which they often do!), your lights default to the lowest position for safety. I’ll walk you through the diagnosis and show you how to replace the rear driver’s side level arm quickly and easily right in your driveway.
