Audi TT Mk1 - Battery Replacement - How to change a car Battery

Changing a car battery is fairly straightforward that anyone can do at home.
All you need is a socket set and a screwdriver.

A dead car battery or perhaps a car battery refuses to charge can be frustrating and leave you stranded.
With this simple tutorial, I will show you how to change a car battery at home for your Audi TT Mk1.

Did you know changing a car battery on a V6 Audi TT mk1 is different to changing a battery on a 225 Audi TT or a 150, or 180?

That is because the battery on the V6 and Quattro Sport is in the boot and on the 1.8T engines it is under the bonnet.

So here I talk about how to remove a car battery, how to replace a car battery and how to access the battery when the battery is flat.

The Audi TT has an emergency boot release so you can still access the boot even with a failed car battery.
