Today we have a 2006 Audi A6 with the 3.2L engine that is having some starting issues. We diagnose it as a faulty starter and walk you though the process of replacement. This does require a somewhat specialized socket in the form of a 12mm triple square. Everything else is fairly straight forward albeit kind of a pain to get to. This process should be the same on 2005 Audi A6 Quattro, 2006 Audi A6 Quattro, 2007 Audi A6 Quattro, 2008 Audi A6 Quattro, and 2009 Audi A6 Quattro with the 3.2L engine.
