How to remove the door lock of Audi A6 C5, Audi A4, VW Passat B5, and similar VAG car models.

The issue was that when closing the door, the interior light, the driver's footwell illumination, and the door light wouldn't turn off. It was determined that the culprit was the microswitch (limit switch) located in the door lock.

After removing the lock, it turned out that someone had already attempted a repair, but it was a temporary fix because the lock's lever didn't reach the microswitch.

I cleaned everything and securely attached the microswitch using epoxy glue so that the lock's lever would press on the microswitch when the door was closed.
