Before beggin working on the power steering pump , make sure that is not the power steering rack which is faulty so you can decide if you really want to invest in your car or not .
If the power steering pump makes noises when you turn the steering wheel , than it might be broken , so a replacement can fix the issue ; however keep in mind that a proper diagnose should be made before .
