In this video I will take you through how to replace the alternator on your Audi A3 8L.
This has been done on my TDI, but should be the same for the 1.8T, and easier on non turbo models as the video will highlight.

This video may also be relevant to similar period Seat, Skoda and VW cars as the engines and platforms were shared.

Unfortunately I lost a small amount of footage of the actual moments I removed and replaced the alternator but this is a very minor factor in the process.
