Here's the wrong way to change your oil (and details on the right way too) in a 2017 Audi A4 45 2.0 TFSI. This video walks through the traditional way of doing an oil change with step by step instructions. It will also attempt to prove that the traditional way of changing the oil in the Audi A4 isn't worth it by showing how the extraction method works. Ultimately, this is still a DIY guide for changing the oil on your Audi A4. This video works for all 5th Generation A4 models that have the four cylinder 2.0 EA888 engine. That engine was on the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 models (please note that oil specifications may have changed on newer models so double check your owner's manual). This how-to guide shows you how to remove the engine covers and find the proper locations to drain the oil and replace the filter and how to fill the oil in the Audi A4. This model is also commonly called the B9 model.
