Before cleaning the throttle body, this was the state of the car:
- the idle speed would fluctuate and, eventually, halt.
- the EPC light was ON.
After I cleaned the throttle body, exactly how one can see in these videos, the state of the car is:
- the idle is smooth and faultless;
- the EPC light went off, not the first day after I had cleaned it, but the second day.
Since then it has been off and the car has not stalled once.
I must mention that I did not reset the electronics or do anything to them:
the mechanical work done and presented here was sufficient to solve the problems stated in the first lines above.
