In this video I'm replacing the thermostat in my BHC engined 1.4 TDI Audi A2. I suspect it was stuck open, as the coolant temperature did not go above 60 celsius, suggesting the engine wasn't warming up properly. Closer inspection suggests this is the original thermostat based on the genuine part and the service history.
Incidentally, the water pump and coolant was listed as changed in mid 2018, but the colour makes it look suspiciously like it was much older.
