This video shows you how to install an alternator on your 2001-2007 Volvo V70. The alternator in your vehicle powers the battery and electrical system while the engine is running. If your alternator is failing, you may wind up with a constantly draining battery.

This repair was done on a 2001 Volvo V70 X/C 2.4L Wagon 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
