In this video, we demonstrate the procedure for removing/replacement of the injectors of all 2.4L, Euro 5, 5-cylinder diesel engines badged under D3, D4, D5, and D6 variants. After injectors repair or replacement with new, their calibration data (also called "codes") need to be corrected in the ECU to ensure optimal work of the engine. While this video focuses on the physical aspect of the job, the software side—injector coding—can be easily performed using advanced diagnostic tools or software like VDASH.
This procedure is compatible with all models equipped with this engine, including the V60/S60/S80/XC60/XC90/C70.
