Today, a quick video on replacing the pollen/cabin filter in an N16 Nissan Almera. I also introduce my latest project!

You will need:

- pollen filter, mine cost around £10
- flat blade screwdriver
- 5 to 10 minutes of your time

The glovebox pops out by removing two tabs at the bottom two corners. You can then release the glovebox.

The cover for the pollen filter requires a flat blade screwdriver to unclip the tabs. This will remove and reveal the filter.

The filter can be removed by pinching it and placing a finger either side, to squeeze and remove it.

Clean out any leaves using a suitable vacuum cleaner.

The new filter should slide in, pay attention to the airflow. The motor sucks air in from outside the car so the arrows should face down toward the fan motor.

There are three tabs on the upper portion of the cover, these clip above the filter and the cover should push then click into place. The filter is now renewed.
