How to remove, clean and replace the throttle body on a 2006 to 2013 Nissan Note E11 with the 1.4 litre petrol engine. A dirty throttle body can cause the following symptoms:

Rough or erratic idling:
A dirty throttle body can disrupt airflow, causing the engine to idle unevenly or shake.

Poor acceleration:
Reduced airflow can lead to sluggish or delayed acceleration when you press the gas pedal.

Stalling:
In severe cases, a dirty throttle body can cause the engine to stall, especially at idle or when coming to a stop.

Check engine light:
The car's computer may detect the issue and trigger the check engine light.

Reduced fuel economy:
Inconsistent airflow can affect the air-fuel mixture, potentially leading to decreased fuel efficiency.

Hesitation or surging during acceleration:
A dirty throttle body can cause the engine to hesitate or surge when accelerating due to inconsistent airflow.

Visible grime or carbon build-up:
You may see dirt, grime, or carbon deposits on the throttle body itself
