This video shows you how to install a new timing chain tensioner from TRQ on your 2003-2008 Toyota Corolla. The timing chain tensioner ensures the correct tension in the engine timing chain to maintain proper contact with cogs and gears. The timing chain tensioner may become frozen, or too loose, and it would need to be replaced.

This repair was done on a 2008 Toyota Corolla S 1.8L Sedan 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
