Easy spark plug change done on a Toyota Aygo 1.0 liters 3 cylinder engine from 2010 . The tools used are common except with the 16 mm spark plug socket and an extension . Spark plugs replacement most be done even though they are not damaged yet .

Hei guys ! In this video I am gonna show you how to replace the spark plugs on this toyota Aygo from 2010 . Since there are only 3 cylinders I will use 3 spark plugs to change them . So first step is to release the clamps of the air filter box ; there are 4 of them , they just pop off like this , than on the side over here there is a hose clamp which needs to be released and pull it out , this is the clamp . Than on the back here on the throttle body is an other big clamp , just release it and the air filter box will come out . Than over here you're gonna find 3 coil packs for 3 cylinders and of course the spark plugs are located under them . So in order to take them out I am gonna use a 10 mm socket . The air filter box on this car is a great holder for the bolts . Now you can just pull out the coil packs and if you want to remove the electric connector than just press on this clamp over here and with a flat head screw driver release the connector and pull it out . And there we go the coil pack is out . Next with a 16 mm magnetic spark plug socket I will undo slowly the spark plugs and the old spark plug is out the ceramic in there is still white which is good , it has a little bit of carbon build up on this side over here but that's fine , that's normal for most of the cars . So out with the old and inn with the new , slowly introduce it in there like so , now I can use my wrentch and tight it . Next since all the spark plugs are inn , I can install back the coil packs , just press them in and tight the bolt back . Make sure that you won't get any dirt in there . This bolts will just keep the coil packs on so it doesn't need to be so tight . Now I can place back the air filter box and over here on the side if you remember there was a clampand lastly I can pop inn the clamps for the air filter box . All right guys , that was it ! Thanks for watching if you are new to this channel and you like cars like me make sure that you subscribe and until next time , take care and I will see you soon !
