ANSA Exhaust Installation for Fiat 500:
This is an International Auto tech tip. Today we have a 2012 Fiat 500 Pop and we will be swapping out the stock exhaust system for an ANSA performance exhaust system. There really are only three connection points. One is kind of concealed by the axel and two rubber brackets towards the rear.

First thing we will do is unclamp the one at the front. On the rear mounting brackets it may be necessary to use spray lubricant to get the brackets to slide out of the mounts themselves. Keep in mind that you have to take the brackets off at the front first.

Now we will add the stainless steel ANSA setup. Mount the brackets at the back first which is the exact opposite of the way we took the old one off. The front is a slip fit clamp and the new ANSA exhaust comes with a new clamp. The old clamp is welded to the old muffler so you can't reuse it and will need to use the one that comes with it. Total work time for this project was only about 15 minutes. No special tools were needed; just ordinary hand tools. You will need though a set of jack stands or a set of ramps.
