This 2011 Renault Clio belongs to my sister who is away in a different country for the year doing nursing. I have been left to take care of this Clio. I wanted to bring it into the shed to clean it but it would not start.

The starter has simply went bad, this video covers the process of diagnosing the starter as being the issue, how to use the car even with a bad starter and how to replace the starter.

Ebay has a wide range of starters for these clios, most scrapyards keep them and the fact that i fitted a Clio Mk2 starter to this Clio Mk3 shows that parts have not changed a great deal over the years.

This process should be very similar to any cars with the D4F engine. The Clio, Modus, Twingo and Symbol, Proton Savvy, Dacia Logan and Dacia Sandero.
