Quickly disassembling the rear drum brakes on a Peugeot 406.

The rear drum brakes provide a great strong handbrake for the 406, the disk with handbrake shoes as fitted to my executive isn't very effective, it does for parking and even then it can struggle, these big drum brakes lock the back wheels once the handbrake is on, part of the reason is their size, but also the backplate the drum brakes use is made of much thicker metal than the flimsy rust prone rubbish the rear disk models have.

I didn't show the removal of the cylinder, the reason for this was that the rear cylinder could not be removed from its brake line and i just chopped the brake line with a pair of pliers.

When i get the chance i will try and do a video showing how to reassemble brake shoes and adjust the handbrake.
