How to remove and replace a faulty Alternator on a Peugeot 406 3.0 V6

This particular car was a 2001 406 with the 210bhp ES9J4S engine, the same procedure should apply to the earlier 190bhp version of this engine. These engines were fitted to a number of PSA and Renault cars including the 407, 607, 807, C5, C6, C8, Laguna and Avantime. The same basic procedure should apply to the other cars.

For front wheel drive V6 its not the worst alternator to have to remove, the air conditioning pump had to be moved aside but as shown that is not too difficult.
