Welcome,

In today's video, we will be showing you the location and how to remove the Heater motor and resistor

Watch the video in full, as it isn't really a walk in the park.

When you remove the two clips to remove the bottom cover and have access to the Heater motor, save yourself some trouble before you remove the blower motor. Remove the blower motor plug and test it first.
You don't want to go through all the trouble for no reason. This blower isn't as straightforward as some of the other vehicles.

If the blower motor works, you can remove the resistor easily by unplugging and removing the 2 torx screws that hold it into place on the blower motor.

For the blower motor, there is very limited space, you don't have to remove the covers that I remove but it may take a lot longer and difficult to get to the screws in tight areas. There are a total of 6 torx screws that hold the blower motor in place including the two on the resistor.

After the covers are off, only one of the screws is in a very difficult location, which may require the partial removal of the accelerator pedal. You can remove it if you have the proper tools.
