Citroen C3 1.4 HDI 2005, engine starter removal (most probably is the same for all 1.4 hdi engines)

The starter have 3 attachment bolts and 2 electrical points

1. Get access for bolt #1 as removing battery and battery housing

2. Remove attachment bolt #1

3. Jack the car and secure with axle stand

4. Starter is located behind of the engine

5. Remove nuts from electrical points #1 and #2, then remove the attaching cables

6. Untighten and remove bolts #2 and #3

7. Remove the starter
