How to remove battery from VW Passat B6. If you need to remove the battery from a Passat then this video shows the steps and the bolt that you often can't see.
You'll need a 13mm socket with extension bar and 10mm socket or spanner

Remember to remove the negative terminal first when you disconnect the battery. The video shows the terminals being loosened but not the order of removal
